Designed, tested, and refined here at Juno 106 HQ. We have been installing and calibrating these chips for close to a year now and couldn’t be happier with how they tune up and sound. They are designed to sound and function as close as possible to the original Roland parts (using the same 3109 and 662 ICs) and they are totally indistinguishable sonically, making your Juno sound just like it did in 1988.

We recommend the original 106 voices always be replaced with new parts as a complete set of 6. Due to the failure mode of the factory parts they will all fail in time. Removing, soaking, and peeling the original boards can work for a time but the the issues usually return. Better to replace them once with a set that will last the life of the synth once you’ve done the challenging job of removing them.

A great set of classic analog monitors from the golden era of Dynaudio. A beefy 6” midrange driver and a 1” soft-dome driven by great sounding class AB amplification makes for a huge detailed soundstage. Speaker-protection relays already replaced (common issue in these). Some minor dings and scuffs on the cabinets if you look close enough, drivers are very clean and never damaged. Sounding great.

Hands-down the nicest machine to come out of the 80’s cassette multi-track craze (sorry Tascam). Made at the peak of AKAI’s production quality, this is the sister machine to the legendary MPC-60 (bonus points if you are buying it to use alongside one!). Standalone 6-channel mixer with EQ and sends, two surprisingly great-sounding mic preamps, 4 vibey tape tracks with full varispeed and a nice autolocator built into the transport section. Freshly repaired here - new tact switches throughout, a clean and service of all of the panel controls, and a fresh PSU rebuild with the remaining caps testing good throughout. It’s running strong and feels super snappy and responsive to use.

A really nice example of a Stage 73, freshly restored in-house from the ground up. Action fully rebuilt, modified, and set up. Fresh tolex and hardware on the case and a brand new set of legs. Thousands of dollars of parts and labour into this one - too many little things to mention. Very dynamic and expressive under the fingers with sustain for days.
